Anu Emmanuel

The lovely Anu Emmanuel is slowly but surely carving a niche for herself in the highly competitive world of Southern cinema. Her latest big screen outing ‘Agnyaathavaasi’ finally hit screens today amidst high expectations. And, it already seems to have impressed movie buffs. During a recent chat with a leading website, Anu spoke about working with the much-loved Pawan Kalyan and said that he is a relaxed person who does not speak too much. She also praised director Trivikram Srinivas and said that said that he good knowledge of everything—right from Physics to food.

“Pawan sir is an unique individual. He’s a man of few words who carries himself with utmost grace. And when you work with him, you also discover that he is quite humorous as well and very relaxed on set. And I must add that Trivikram Srinivas is the reason why this film has been such a pleasant experience for me. His working style is very different and he has a way of making all his actors feel at ease. He’s a true genius and so knowledgeable that we would talk about everything under the sun — from Indian history to Physics; from filmmaking to food! There’s a lot to learn from him,”added Anu.

Interestingly, Anu dubbed her voice for ‘Agnyaathavaasi’ and added a new dimension to her career. Talking about it, she said that the experience was quite good and added that she did a good job.

“I had a lot of fun dubbing! Initially, Trivikram sir did not think it was a good idea since I’m playing a Telugu girl so the pronunciation has to perfect, without any slang. So he just told me to try it out casually and see if it works out. There was no pressure from his side. Thankfully, he was very happy with what I had done<” she added.

Well, we wish good luck and hope that ‘Agnyaathavaasi’ turns to be a huge hit at the box office.
