‘Hello’ is an action-thriller and has been directed by Manam fame Vikram Kumar. Besides Akhil, it also featured filmmaker Priyadarshan’s daughter Kalyani in the lead. The supporting cast featured names like Ramya Krishna and Jagapati Babu. The film is the story of a young guy Akhil who is in search of his childhood girlfriend played by Kalyani Priyadarshan. Reportedly, the makers of the film had spent around Rs 25 crore on the action sequences. The stunts of the film were choreographed by Hollywood stunt coordinator Bob Brown. Bob had earlier worked on Hollywood biggies like xXx: Return of Xander Cage, Transformers: Dark of the Moon among others.
Akhil Akkineni made his Tollywood debut with ‘Akhil: The Power of Jua’ and added a new dimension to his career. Unfortunately, the film bombed at the box office while receiving unflattering reviews. Now, the young star finally managed to get his career back on track with ‘Hello’.
