Akkineni Nagarjuna and Nani will start shooting for the multi-starrer from February

Nani is gearing up for the release of MCA while Nagarjuna is busy with the promotions of Akhil's HELLO.

Natural Star Nani and Nagarjuna Akkineni will soon team up for a film which will be directed by Sriram Aditya who last directed ‘Shamanthakamani’. It is being reported that the film will have loads of humour and will have Nagarjuna playing a role which he hasn’t played before. According to latest reports, the shooting of the film is set to begin from February 2018 since both Nani and Nagarjuna are busy with their commitments till end of January 2018. Nani has MCA lined up for release on December 21st, 2017 for which he wrapped up recently. On the other hand, Nagarjuna is busy with promotions of Akhil’s HELLO and will also join the shooting of Ram Gopal Varma’s film which will go on till end of January 2018. And because of their tight schedules, the makers have decided to begin shooting for the film from February 2018, reports reveal. The film is yet to be titled and will be bankrolled by Vyjayanthi Movies.

Nani is gearing up for the release of MCA which is slated to be released worldwide on December 21st, 2017. MCA also stars Fidaa actress Sai Pallavi as the leading lady while actress Bhumika Chawla will be seen playing a pivotal role in the film. Bollywood hit ‘Pink’ actor Vijay Varma will be seen playing the antagonist in MCA marking his debut in Telugu cinema. The makers of the film have recently released the trailer of the film which gives fans of Telugu cinema all the more reasons to be more excited about the film.

Bhumika Chawla, who is making a comeback in Telugu cinema with MCA, seems to be playing Nani’s ‘vadina’ (sister-in-law) while Rajiv Kanakala is seen playing Nani’s elder brother. Sai Pallavi seems to be playing a happy-go-lucky girl in the film who proposes Nani to get married right at the first sight of him. Bollywood hit flick ‘Pink’ actor Vijay Varma will be seen playing the corrival in MCA marking his debut in Telugu cinema.

The title of the film itself has created a delirium sorts of thing around the film and fans of actor Nani are quite excited about it. Nani plays the ‘Middle Class Abbayi’ in the film while Sai Pallavi plays his love interest, which is obvious in most of the commercial potboilers these days. The music of MCA is composed by Devi Sri Prasad who is currently going through a rocking phase in his career. With back-to-back hits in his kitty, DSP seems to be the synonym of music for commercial potboilers in South Indian cinema.

On the other hand, Nagarjuna will get busy with the shooting of his film with Ram Gopal Varma which is yet to be titled. The film was officially launched today at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad and a scene involving Nagarjuna was shot too. The makers had revealed few posters from the film which reveal the look of Akkineni Nagarjuna in the film. Nagarjuna looks intense and ferocious in these posters, raising the expectations around the film. The film is yet to be titled and is being produced by Ram Gopal Varma himself. The makers plan to shoot over the next couple of months and are aiming to release in April 2018.

Speaking at the launch of the film today, Nagarjuna said that he has complete faith in Ram Gopal Varma and the subject he has come up with. “I have complete faith in Ramu’s script and he believes me too. I’m sure the film will be turn out to be one of the best films in my career. It’s an intense story which will have a Ramu style approach to it,” said Akkineni Nagarjuna.

Many Telugu movie-buffs were surprised at Nagarjuna’s decision to do a film with Ram Gopal Varma since the filmmaker hasn’t had a great run in the last many years. However, Nagarjuna has come out in support of Ram Gopal Varma and said that when he narrated the script to him, he was taken aback with it and agreed to do the film instantly.

There were a lot of speculations around who would be playing the female lead in the film and a lot of names were doing rounds including Bollywood actress Tabu. However, director Ram Gopal Varma has now cleared all the air around it and has confirmed the leading actress in the film. RGV took to his social networking page and confirmed that debutante Myra Sareen will be playing the female lead in the film.
