Allu Sirish finally begins shooting for his next film, which is a Telugu remake of Malayalam film ABCD (American-Born Confused Desi). The film, which starred young sensation Dulquer Salmaan is being remade with Allu Sirish in the lead role and will be directed by debutante Sanjiv Reddy. Finally, the shooting of the film goes on floors. Allu Sirish makes an announcement regarding the same. The film also stars Rukshar Dhillon in the female lead. Allu Aravind gave the first clap while veteran producer Suresh Babu switched on the camera.

Allu Sirish took to Twitter to make an announcement about his next film ABCD Telugu. He wrote, “ABCD – American Born Confused Desi starts shoot today. Thanks Dad for giving the first clap & D. Suresh Babu garu switching on the camera. Need all your best wishes, as always.”

Sirish seems quite kicked about this project and has been talking about it on social media a lot. When the film was announced, Sirish had said, “I’m kicked about this film as it has an interesting plot. It’s a film about a US-born rich guy who comes to India for a trip. But he is forced to stay back and finish his graduation here by his father who makes him live a normal, middle class life. How this spoilt brat transforms into a better man as a result is the crux of the story.”

Allu Sirish has also signed a Tamil film starring Suriya in the lead. In an interview to New Indian Express, a self-confessed Suriya fan, Sirish said, “I’m excited to be a part of my first Rs100 crore project. The film’s principal shooting will begin in July in London and will continue until November. I will join the team in September. Right now, I can’t reveal more details about my role, but all I can say is it’s an important character that will be seen along with my favourite actor Suriya. I have a leading lady too (laughs).”
