Anasuya Bharadwaj to play an investigative reporter in Mohan Babu starrer ‘Gayatri’

Gayatri is being directed by Madan while the story and dilaogues are written by DIamond Ratnababu.

Television talk show anchor and actress Anasuya Bharadwaj will be seen in quite a few films this year which includes Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam and Mohan Babu’s Gayatri. While in Rangasthalam Anasuya will be seen playing a village belle, in Mohan Babu’s Gayatri Anasuya will be seen playing an investigative reporter. The makers confirmed that Anasuya will be seen in a strong character that has significance in the story. The anchor turned actress will be seen as Ms. Shreshta Jayaram, an investigative reporter in the film.  Anasuya has been exploring variety of roles since her debut with ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’. She played a wicked cop in ‘Kshanam’.  Vishnu Manchu will be seen in a powerful role in Gayatri and Shriya Saran will be seen playing his love interest.

Gayatri is being directed by Madan while the story and dilaogues are written by DIamond Ratnababu. The music of the film is composed by Thaman SS while the camera is cranked by Sarvesh Murari. Mohan Babu will be seen playing a dual role in the film, besides producing the film. Mohan Babu, who was last seen in Mama Manchu Alludu Kanchu alongside Allari Naresh and Ramya Krishna, will be making a comeback with Gayathri. Mama Manchu Alludu Kanchu also featured Meena in a pivotal role.

Anasuya Bharadwaj has tried her hands at different types of roles in her career so far which include an intense film like Kshanam. Anasuya has also done a special song too in the film Winner which starred Sai Dharam Tej in the lead role. Anasuya will also be seen in a dark comedy film titled Sachindi Ra Gorre. Directed by Sridhar Reddy, a debutante, Sachindi Ra Gorre will feature many other popular actors which includes Srinivas Reddy, Tillu Venu, Zabardast Rakesh, Shakalaka Shankar, Siva Reddy, Ravi Babu, Tagubotu Ramesh, Mangli, Chitram Seenu and Kota Sankar Rao among others.
