Director G Ashok is bound to be one happy man these days. His latest big screen outing ‘Bhaagamathie’ is set to hit screens tomorrow and has already created quite a buzz amongst fans. Featuring lady superstar Anushka Shetty in the titular role, it grabbed attention because of its intense trailer and solid visual presentation. During a recent chat with a leading daily, the filmmaker said that Bhaagamathie’ s VFX is so good that it can be considered to be a part of its supporting cast. He also stressed that SS Thaman has done splendid job musically and claimed that audio will leave the audience reeling.

“While Anushka plays the titular role, the special effects form the support cast for the film. I’ll start with the sound department. SS Thaman’s goosebump-inducing background score will give the audience an adrenaline rush like never before. For about 40-minutes the audio effects in the film will leave the audience reeling,” added the director.

Praising Anushka, G Ashok said that she is a thorough professional and shot even the most challenging scenes without complaining about anything. He added that working with a person like her was his biggest ‘takeaway’ from ‘Bhaagamathie’.

“In the trailer, there is one scene in which she nails herself to the wall. We shot that for two days. Imagine standing with your hand against the wall for two days! She just took it all in her stride like a thorough professional,” he said.

Well, these are some sweet words and are bound to create a buzz amongst Anushka’s fans.

On a related note, ‘Bhaagamathie’ will be Anushka’s first release since ‘Baahubali 2’. The SS Rajamouli directorial was a blockbuster and she will be hoping her latest film helps her continue her tryst with success.
