In 2017, the ever graceful Anushka Shetty became the toast of T-town when she delivered a mind-blowing performance in the blockbuster called ‘Baahubali 2’ and proved that she truly is a lady superstar. Everything about her act—right from her look to her regal body language– seemed perfect and added a new life to the film. Furthermore, her crackling chemistry with her onscreen ‘Darling’ Prabhas created a buzz amongst movie buffs. With ‘Baahubali 2’ behind her, Anushka is gearing up for the release of ‘Bhaagamathie’. The film has already created quite a buzz amongst fans courtesy its trailer and is slated to hit screens on R-Day. Now, it seems that the buzz surrounding it is going to reach new heights. In an exciting development, the makers of the film have released a new poster and made the wait for is pretty difficult.

In it, Anushka can be seen in a shocking new avatar that she totally nails. Her imploring expressions gel with her look and add a touch of vulnerably/helplessness to her look.  That’s how you make an impact!

In case you did not know, ‘Bhaagamathie’ has been directed by G Ashok and promises to be an Anushka Shetty show all the way. Its supporting cast includes names such as Unni Mukundan and Jayaram. Recently, while talking about the film, the Shetty lady had said that that it is not a ghost story and does not feature her in a double role.

“A few have misconstrued it as a ghost movie with a reincarnation theme. But it is a contemporary thriller and she is only a fictitious character. I play an IAS officer Sanjana, which is one of the most thought-provoking characters I have ever done. There was plenty of scope for performance, thanks to director Ashok garu who waited for me with the script from 2012,” she had told a leading daily.
