Watch: Teaser of ‘Naa Peru Surya’ starring Allu Arjun as an armed officer is striking

Actor Allu Arjun will next be seen playing an armed forces officer in a film titled ‘Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India’ which is being directed by writer-turned-director Vakkantham Vamsi. The film is being produced by Bunny Vaas and features Anu Emmanuel as the leading lady in it. ‘Naa Peru Surya’ will have Allu Arjun playing a fit and stylish role in it and will have him portraying a young officer who has anger management issues, and is very patriotic. ‘Naa Peru Surya’ is slated to be released on April 28th, 2018 during the summer however, the makers faced a minor hurdle with the release date after the makers of Rajinikanth’s 2.0 announced that their film will be released on April 27th, 2018. Producer Bunny Vaas wasn’t a happy man after the announcement came out and said that two big films clashing at the box office at the same time will not be good for the business. And after numerous discussions and negotiations, the makers of ‘Naa Peru Surya’ have now decided to change their release date.

Interacting with the media today, the makers confirmed that they have now preponed the release of ‘Naa Peru Surya’ to April 13th, 2018 in order to avoid a clash with Rajinikanth’s 2.0. 2.0 will also be dubbed into Telugu and is considered to be one of the biggest releases too since Rajinikanth has a huge market in the Telugu states as well. The Shankar directorial was initially slated to be released in January this year however, was pushed to April owing to delay in post-production works of the film. This change of release dates seems to be a sigh of relief to the makers of both the films, fans of the actor and the distributors as well who would have pinned high hopes on both the films.

2.0 is being made on a humongous budget of INR 400 crores and the business expected out of it after release is estimated to be huge. Keeping in mind all these calculations, the makers of both the films seem to have amicably decided to work around the release dates.

Why sugar coat it saying both worked around the dates? The actual deal is one movie was moved beacuse it knows it will be vanquished.
