Top 5 Questions that we never asked about Baahubali 2

Kiccha Sudeep in Baahubali as Aslam Khan

The stage is set for the magnanimous film Baahubali The Conclusion to be unveiled on April 28, 2017, worldwide. Shobu Yarlagadda, one of the producers of Baahubali, posted series of messages on his social media page which were quite emotional. The journey that they have been through and the hurdles they faced to come up such a monumental film is beyond imagination. Like they say, all remarkable things come to an end. And the journey of Baahubali too is coming to an end, not just of Rajamouli or ARKA media works, but for the whole nation. And when certain people try to tarnish all the success for unknown reasons, how to fight against these forces?

SS Rajamouli is facing an indistinguishable situation in Karnataka now. With the release less than 10 days away, few Pro-Kannada activists are staging protests to halt the release of Baahubali in the state and the reason is not directly related. They want Kattappa, actor Sathyaraj, to apologise to the state of Karnataka for the remarks he made about Kannadigas during the Cauvery water issue. And the actor has not responded in any way to these demands.

Rajamouli said that Sathyaraj had made those comments nine years ago when he didn’t even set out to make the magnum opus Baahubali. He also opined that no one spoke about this when the first part of Baahubali was released and questioned: “Why now?”.

Maybe Aslam Khan of Baahubali, Kiccha Sudeep, could intervene help this resolve? With the issue in Tamil Nadu being resolved amicably and intervention by seniors in the industry, we think someone like Sudeep should step in and resolve this.
