Baahubali music composer MM Keeravani comes onboard for Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Savyasachi’

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya was last seen in ‘Yuddham Sharanam’ which was directed by Krishna Marimuthu. Even though the film was not a commercial success, Chay received positive reviews for his role in the film from viewers and critics. Naga Chaitanya will next be seen in a film titled ‘Savyasachi’ which will be directed by Chandoo Mondeti. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film will soon go on floors with the pre-production works underway currently. Rest of the cast of ‘Savyasachi’ is yet to be revealed by the makers but latest buzz is that Baahubali music composer M.M. Keeravani will render the tunes for this film.

Latest reports reveal that Keeravani has come onboard for this film and this will be the first time that he would be composing songs for a Naga Chaitanya film. M.M.Keeravani had said that he would quit composing songs after Baahubali but later had said that he might take up projects only if he likes the story. And looks like he has liked ‘Savyasachi’ and hence, has agreed to compose the songs for this film.

It is also being said that Bengaluru-based actress Nidhi Agerwal might be roped in to play the leading lady in ‘Savyasachi’ but it is yet to be officially announced by the makers. “The makers were looking for a new face with South Indian looks. They felt Nidhhi was apt. Also, she’s a very good dancer,” a source said recently. ‘Savyaachi’ will be Naga Chaitanya’s second association with director Chandoo Mondeti after the two worked on ‘Premam’, which was a remake of the Malayalam hit film with the same title.
