The two-part film series, Baahubali showed its potential of the Indian market to the world and guess what? The game is not over yet. After Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, fans were quite disappointed and were asking for more. Well, the prayers have been listened to as Netflix on Thursday announced a prequel to the period drama. Yes, you read that right!

Baahubali: Before the Begining will comprise of 9 episodes and is based on Anand Neelakantan’s book, The Rise of Sivagami. Reportedly, the series will focus on the politics involved in the rise of Mahismati. The series will also have a narrative style of both the series, including the visual effects.

Well, recently, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion actor Subbaraju visited Japan to catch the live reactions of the audience on Baahubali 2. It was houseful with the audience screaming as they got a glimpse of their favourite star Subbaraju, who played Kumar Verma in Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.

Both the installments of Baahubali starring Prabhas and Rana Daggubati in the lead roles will always rule our hearts. The film is setting new records even now in China and Japan. The movie buffs waited for almost two years to find the answer to the viral question, “why did kattapa kill Baahubali.” Well, Baahubali and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion had blown our minds for the obvious reasons. SS Rajamouli’s direction is something that one can’t stop raving about even now.

A month ago, Baahubali director SS Rajamouli had also visited Japan and wrote a long note on Instagram alongside a few pictures. He took to Instagram to share few pictures and wrote: “Its been a week since we came back home from Japan. Thanks to #Baahubali, we had a chance to visit many countries. But Japan became our most favourite. I can’t ever forget the reception they gave us, and the love they showered on us and our film. Incredible. They sent me home with lots of gift packs. We just started unboxing one by one and it brought a wide smile on my face again. Every gift we got and every art made was so unique and amazing. Thanks for all your efforts, it really means a lot to us. I feel truly blessed. Didn’t want to open #Prabhas, @Ranadaggubati’s gifts… We will unbox them once we all meet. 🙂 Thank you so much #Japan… Loads of love.”
