Baahubali 2 is now officially the top earning film in Indian cinema after crossing INR 1500 crores at the box office. The film starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Anushka Shetty broke all possible records not just at national level, but even global too. Baahubali became the first Indian film to top the list at the box office in the US. The film beat Fast and Furious 8 and Emma Watson starrer The Circle at the US box office and was at the top number.
Post the success of Baahubali 2, there have been speculations that Prabhas will make his debut in Bollywood with a direct film under the production of Karan Johar. But none of the parties has confirmed this though. However, recent developments suggest a bigger news than this.
Baahubali producer Shobu Yarlagadda posted a message on his social networking page that might indicate that there might be a Baahubali 3 on the cards. The message read – “Everything that happens once can never happen again. But everything that happens twice will surely happen a third time! From “The Alchemist”.”

Going by this, fans of the magnum opus Baahubali are saying that there will be the third part of Baahubali on the cards.
Baahubali 2 has made a mark in global cinema circles and has raised the standards of Indian cinema. Post Baahubali, two more movies with huge budgets were announced, Ramayana by Allu Arvind and Madhu Mantena and another one by Mohanlal which will be an adaptation of Ramayana.
