Baahubali VFX artist RC Kamalakannan for Mahesh Babu’s SPYder

The climax episodes of SPYder will have heavy VFX scenes and hence the makers have roped in Baahubali VFX supervisor RC Kamalakannan

Mahesh Babu's SPYder teaser on May 31st

Mahesh Babu‘s SPYder is currently being shot in Chennai at a brisk pace. This schedule of the shooting is covering the climax episodes of the the story. According to sources close to the unit, the climax episodes of SPYder will have some heavy VFX. The makers have roped in Baahubali VFX artist RC Kamalakannan for this purpose.

Speaking about this Kamalakannan told a leading daily,” I am very happy to be a part of the film. The principal studio working on the film will be from Russia.” The shooting of these VFX heavy scenes will be wrapped by June 2nd.

Rumours are doing rounds that the makers are planning to release the film in the month of September as against the earlier rumours of a release in August. However, a report in a leading tabloid confirmed that a teaser of SPYder will be unveiled on the 31 May, 2017.

SPYder is being directed by A.R.Murugadoss with Mahesh Babu playing an intelligence officer in the film. The film is being shot in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously, and will be released as a bilingual. SPYder will be the first film for Mahesh Babu as a straight Tamil film, and will mark his debut.

Harris Jayaraj is composing the tunes in SPYder and the female lead in the film is being played by Rakul Preet Singh.
