Balakrishna starrer Jai Simha cleared with U/A certificate

There can be no denying that 2017 was a rather eventful year for Telugu star Balakrishna. He started off the year with the highly ambitious ‘Gautamipitra Satrakarni’ and gave strong proof of his abilities as an actor. Also featuring Shriya in the lead, this historical drama did well at the box office despite facing stiff competition from Chiranjeevi starrer ‘Qaidi No 150’. Thereafter, he teamed up with Shriya once again for the commercial entertainer ‘Paisa Vasool’  and delivered a massy performance.  A Puri Jagannadh directorial, it opened to a decent response at the box office and received mixed reviews.

At present, NBK is gearing up for the release of ‘Jai Simha’. An action-drama, it has already created a buzz amongst fans courtesy its intense trailer. And, now there is some good news for those awaiting its release. In an exciting development, ‘Jai Simha’ has been cleared with a ‘U/A’ certificate and will hit screens on January 12. The film has been directed by KS Ravikumar and features Nayanthara as the leading lady.   NBK-Nayan have previously collaborated for successful films like ‘Simha so fans bound to have high expectations from this one. Actress Natasha Doshi too is a part of the cast and will be seen in a key role here.

Sometime ago, she had said that working with Nayanthara and NBK was a good experience for her.

“Balakrishna sir and Ravikumar sir enact each scene for me because Telugu is a language I am yet to master. Nayanthara is a star in her own right, and yet, she is very down-to-earth and friendly,” she had told a leading daily.

On a related note, Nayan had a terrific 2017. She impressed fans her act in ‘Velaikkaran;’ and ‘Aramm’, proving that she is a ‘Lady Superstar’ in the truest sense. Let us hope that ‘Jai Simha’ helps her add another feather to her cap.

So, are you looking forward to ‘Jai Simha’? Comments, please!
