The film was a thriller but the initial rushes of the film indicated that the film could be a horror genre, regarding which Ashok had said that the film wouldn’t fit in one genre. “It’s neither a biopic or nor a period drama with fantasy elements. It’s a thriller, though I wouldn’t confine it to just one genre. There are a lot of other exciting factors too in the screenplay. We will reveal more information in the teaser,” Ashok had said. The filmmaker has made films like Pilla Zamindar with Nani in the lead and Sukumarudu with Aadi, and the former was one of the biggest hilarious hits in Telugu film industry.
