Anushka Shetty in 'Bhaagamathie'

During a recent chat with a leading website, director G Ashok opened up directing the much-loved Anushka Shetty in ‘Bhaagamathie’ and said in ‘Bhaagamathie’ and said that it will be her best film/performance ever. He also added that she is a talented actress and is dedicated to her craft.

“Everything from the set to all the other details have come out really well, which has only complimented her acting. I can proudly say that this will be the best performance of her career. First of all, she was very keen on getting the graph of the character. Only after getting the clarity will she act. Her dedication is something I have never seen. Moreover, If we have to depict a queen on the screen, nobody else but Anushka will come to mind,” said the director.

Well, we these are some sweet words and we are sure that Anushka will be touched by them. In case you did not know, ‘Bhaagamathie’ is slated to hit screens on January 26 and has already created a buzz amongst movie buffs courtesy its trailer. Also featuring Jayaram in a key role, it is set to clash at the ticket window with Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Padmaavat’. It will be worth watching which film proves to be the winner.

Interestingly, ‘Bhaagamathie’ will be Anushka’s first release of the year. She was last seen in the 2017 blockbuster ‘Baabhubali’ which received rave reviews from all quarters and changed the tenets of Indian cinema. In it, she was seen opposite Prasbhas and did full justice to her role. An epic-drama, the SS Rajamouli directorial also featured Rana Daggubati, Nassar, Ramya Krishnan, and Sathyaraj in key roles.

It will be worth watching whether ‘Bhaagamathie’ helps her solidify her lady superstar status further.
