The much awaited second season of Bigg Boss Telugu being hosted by actor Nani, kick-started from June 10. The reality is back to the television and is receiving a huge response from the audience. This time, the show witnesses contestants -Geetha Madhuri, Amit Tiwari, TV 9 anchor Deepti, Tanish, Babu Gogineni, Bhanushree Mehra, rapper Roll Rida, anchor Syamala, actor Kireeti, Deepthi Sunaina, Kaushal Manda, Tejaswi Madivada, Samrat Reddy, Ganesh, Sanjana Anne and Nutan Naidu.

Initially, the viewers found contestants of the show quite boring but with each passing episode, the reality show is getting interesting. Also, TRP wise, Bigg Boss 2 Telugu with host Nani has witnessed a good rating. The launch episode of the second season recorded a rating of 15.05 and it recorded 7.93 in the weekdays, according to BARC report. With this Star MAA continues to be in the first position. The rating of the show dropped gradually towards the weekend.

The average first-week rating of Bigg Boss Telugu season is close to half of the first week average of the debut season, which was hosted by Jr NTR. Due to unpopular contestants and not so engaging content can be one of the few reasons behind the declining TRP.

Meanwhile, host Nani is quite in the news since Sri Reddy has alleged that she was kept out of the reality show Bigg Boss Telugu season 2 at the behest of the Natural star. Nani, who maintained silence for the longest time over Sri Reddy’s allegations, recently, took to Twitter and shared a long post. The actor tweeted, “I am NOT going to join the filth by reacting. I am NOT going to give them what they want. Initiated legal action. Legal Notice has been dispatched for filing defamation cases.”
