Sukumar’s last release, Rangasthalam, starring Ram Charan was a huge success. The director is known to bring some best and never seen performances on the big screen. Now according to reports, the director has roped in Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan for his next Hindi film. Reportedly, Varun Dhawan is ready to do a movie which is being helmed by Telugu director Sukumar.

According to media reports, the movie can be a remake of a South film but no official confirmation regarding the same has been made. Nothing has been finalized as of now but is said to be bankrolled by a big production house. Varun and Sukumar have already met and have finished an initial round of discussions for the film, according to reports.

Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan is busy with the shoot of his next films, Sui Dhaaga and Kalank. The actor has an interesting line up of films. It remains to see how his next with Tollywood director Sukumar shapes up.

On the other hand, director Sukumar has geared up with his next with Mahesh Babu. The two will be teaming up after a gap of three years, last being 2014 release 1 Nenokkadine. According to media reports, Sukumar’s next with Mahesh Babu is going to be a crime thriller. Yes, and Mahesh Babu will be seen playing the role of a CID officer in the film. This interesting news has surely excited everyone. However, an official confirmation regarding the same is awaited.

Sukumar-directed Rangasthalam was a huge success at the Box Office. The film starring Ram Charan went on to become the third highest grosser of Telugu industry sans Baahubali franchise. The village-based drama Rangasthalam starring Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni in the lead was released on 30 March.
