Dhruva, featuring Ram Charan and Arvind Swami, was an astounding success in the career of Ram Charan after Magadheera. The actor was going through a lean phase before Dhruva and this film changed the course of his career bringing him back in the success race. Dhruva was the remake of Tamil super hit Thani Oruvan which featured Jayam Ravi and was directed by Mohan Raja. Dhruva is now being dubbed into Hindi and will soon be premiered on a popular Hindi channel on television.
Since Ram Charan is a known face in Bollywood after the release of Zanjeer, the makers are now trying to make sure that the dubbed version of Dhruva has all the right elements to make it a success there as well. And for that, the makers have approached Bollywood top star Ajay Devgn to dub for the character played by Ram Charan and apparently the actor has given his nod for it. This makes it more exciting since the character played by Ram Charan in Dhruva requires an intense voice and none other than Ajay Devgn’s voice would best suit.
And another exciting piece of news is that Salman Khan’s brother, Arbaaz Khan will dub for the antagonist role which is portrayed by Arvind Swami in Dhruva. Arbaaz Khan is not new to being associated with Tollywood since he has worked on couple of films here – Jai Chiranjeeva with Mega Star Chiranjeevi in the lead role and recently Kittu Gadu Unnadu Jagratha with Raj Tarun in the lead role.
