Bollywood’s iconic diva Rekha keen to see her late father Gemini Ganesan's story in Mahanati

Director Nag Ashwin’s Telugu movie Mahanati starring Keerthy Suresh, Dulquer Salmaan, Samantha Akkineni and Vijay Devarakonda, released at the Box Office. It is one of the biopics on legendary actress Savitri, that everyone was looking forward to. The film also portrays the life of Gemini Ganesan and if you don’t know, he happens to be Bollywood’s iconic diva, Rekha’s father. The role of Gemini Ganesan is being played by Dulquer Salmaan in the film. Well, being her father a part of the film, of course, Rekha would love to watch how her father looks like in the biopic. Reportedly, Gemini Ganesan never shared a close bond with her daughter Rekha. The diva has expressed her wish to watch the film.

Masala quoted a source saying, “When Rekha heard about the project, she was curious but discreet in her inquiries. But now when the film is out she has let it be known to the film’s producers through her sister Radha that Rekha would like to see the film.”

When Gemini Ganesan passed away in 2005, Rekha had said, “Why should I grieve for him when he’s so much part of me? Why should I grieve when I’m so grateful for his genes, his teachings, rich life and his sheer existence? Grieve for what??!! I’m happy I didn’t have to share unpleasant moments with him. He existed for me in my imagination. And that’s so much more beautiful than reality. Everything I love is unqualified by worldly time constraints. I’m just a small link in the larger scheme of things. I’m not the first one to go through death , nor am I the first one to receive an award. I’m enjoying everything that comes my way…good bad or ugly. I try to make good use of what life’s experiences offer. I think I’ve done a good job of my life, whatever others may think.”

Meanwhile, Mahanati has opened to terrific reviews, the film is setting right records at the Box Office as well. While the first-day business details of India are awaited, the Keerthy Suresh starrer film has reportedly minted $ 260 K from it’s Tuesday premiere in the USA.
Keerthy Suresh plays the titular role of Savitri in Mahanati and she has done justice to it. Dulquer Salmaan, Samantha Akkineni and Vijay Devarakonda have played important roles. The film also stars Rajendra Prasad, Mohan Babu and host of other actors.

I hope she watches the movie and shares her view. It gives me immense pride to know that she is a Telugu. It’s Telugu industry ‘S loss that they couldn’t utilize her talent.

Gemini Ganesan is a biggest AHole. He married his first wife because her father promised to get him a job but died within a month of wedding. He had affair with Rekha’s mom who was an actress but never married and acknowledged Rekha and her sister until Rekha became a big star. Then he married Savitri and used her even when she was penny less and living in a garage. What a POS of a man he is. He built his entire life on other women.

PV i hope you post this

Gemini Ganesan had several wives and even more extra marital affairs. The douche bag was the reason for a superb and beautiful actress like Savitri to undergo a lot of pain, suffering and finally death
