Actor Nani’s second production AWE released worldwide yesterday, February 16th, 2018 and has been receiving overwhelming response from all quarters including critics. Directed by Prashanth Varma, a debutante, AWE has a stellar star cast and is breaking all paths in Telugu cinema in terms of content. Said to be an amalgamation of seven different stories weaved into a common thread, AWE is being termed as one of the revolutionary films Telugu cinema has witnessed in recent times. The film opened to a grand release with huge buzz and going by the latest collection reports, Nani couldn’t have asked for a better start for his second film a producer. Made on a meagre budget of approximately Rs.5 crores, day 1 saw AWE earn a collection of Rs.3 crores in Telugu states and approximately $225,000 at the US box office, reports reveal. The numbers are predicted to get amplified over the weekend given the strong word-of-mouth appreciation the film has been receiving. With the first day itself clocking about 70% of the budget in collections, AWE is surely headed to become a superhit film in Tollywood this season.

AWE has a stellar cast which includes Nithya Menen, Kajal Aggarwal, Murli Sharma, Regina Cassandra, Priyadarshi and Eesha Rebba among others which has created a huge buzz around the film. The makers have been releasing posters which revealed the look of each character which has made Telugu movie buffs quite excited about the film.

Nani is seen giving a voice over for a fish while Ravi Teja is seen voicing over for a tree. The visuals of AWE are top notch and the look sported by each character in the film is quite exciting, and something never seen before. While announcing about the film, Nani had said that he was loved the storyline of the film when Prashant Varma narrated it to him and decided to produce right after hearing the story.
