During a recent interaction with a leading daily, actress Catherine Tresa opened up about her personal life and said that she was quite shy as a child. The star went on to add that she initially did not like being pushed out of her shell but gradually began enjoying things.
“I didn’t like that they tried to push me out of my shell. But when people appreciated me, I started enjoying it. I realised that I liked being a performer. That’s probably why despite being shy and reserved, I am confident in front of the camera and easily snap out of my zone,” she added.
Besides this, Catherine revealed that she is a voracious reader and is able to visualise her roles better because of this habit,
“I don’t read for the purpose of being well-read! It’s just a habit, a lifestyle. Being an actor, this habit helps me visualise better,” added the diva.
Well, we are happy that her hobby helps her on the professional front as well.
On a related note, this is a busy time for her. Catherine will soon be seen alongside Telugu star Gopichand in ‘Gautham Nanda’. The film is a commercial entertainer and will hit screens this Friday. Besides this, she has ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’ in her kitty. It is a political-thriller and features Rana Daggubati in the role of a politician. Directed by Teja, it will hit screens next month.
