Actress Catherine Tresa, who is riding high on the success of her latest release Nene Raju Nene Mantri, has now been roped into star opposite Ravi Teja in the remake of Tamil hit film Bogan which starred Jayam Ravi and Hansika in the lead roles. The original in Tamil was directed by Lakshman and was produced jointly by Prabhu Dheva and K. Ganesh. Bogan was a hit in Tamil and was widely appreciated for its story-line and narration. The film also featured Arvind Swami in a pivotal role acting for the second time alongside Jayam Ravi after Thani Oruvan.
Bogan is now being remade in Telugu with Ravi Teja in the lead role and further details about who will direct the remake are yet to be revealed by the makers. However, it has been confirmed that actress Catherine Tresa will play the leading lady in this remake which is yet to be titled.
Ravi Teja is currently shooting for his upcoming film Raja The Great directed by Anil Ravipudi, a teaser of which was released recently. Ravi Teja had taken a long gap from acting and now has two films lined up, Raja The Great with Anil Ravipudi and Touch Chesi Chudu with debutante Vikram Sirikonda.
On the other hand, Catherine Tresa just had a release in Telugu, Nene Raju Nene Mantri, with Rana Daggubati in the lead role which turned out to be a super hit film. And with this latest development, looks like Catherine is definitely making the right movies in her career.
