Celebrating 40 years of Chiranjeevi in films, ‘Blood Donation Drive’ planned in India and the US

Having made his debut with Pranam Khareedu in 1978, Mega Star Chiranjeevi completes 40 years in films this year.

2017 marks the completion of 40 years in films for Mega Star Chiranjeevi. Having started his journey in films by playing few negative roles, Chiranjeevi is today one of the biggest stars in Indian cinema and is widely admired for his acting and dance skills in cinema. With 150 films under his belt, Chiranjeevi is considered to be the most versatile actor in Indian cinema and enjoys a huge following across the nation. With his astonishing dancing abilities and unconventional acting prowess, Chiranjeevi is also considered as an inspiration for many young actors of this generation.

And on the occassion of Chiranjeevi completing 40 years in films, Ravanam Swami Naidu organized 400 blood donation events all over India and reached out to the global community to expand similar activities in the United States of America.

Vijay Repalle has taken up the responsibility of coordinating and organizing 40 Blood Donation events across the United States of America in association with APTA (American Progressive Telugu Association), local American and Telugu organizations and most importantly, with the help of “Blood Brothers of Mega Star Chiranjeevi”.

Ram Charan, son of Chiranjeevi, thanked all the organisers of these blood dontation drives and fans of the Mega family in a special video for taking up such a noble cause. Chiranjeevi has always urged his fans and everyone to donate blood, and also runs a blood bank in Hyderabad – Chiranjeevi Blood Bank.

On the career front, Chiranjeevi is gearing up to start shooting for his 151st film which will be based on freedom fighter Uyyalwada Narsimha Reddy and will be directed by Surender Reddy.
