Lavanya Tripathi was recently in the news after she opted out of couple of films due to reasons best known to the actress. Lavanya was part of 100% Kadhal, Tamil remake of 100% Love, reprising the role of Tamannaah Bhatia with G.V.Prakash in the other lead role. Lavanya was also part of a Telugu film that featured Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role that was being directed by Parasuram and produced by Bunny Vaas and Geetha Arta. Apparently, Lavanya chose to opt out of both these movies and the reason behind this step is yet to be known.
But the latest development is that Chandramouli, director of 100% Kadhal, has filed a complaint against Lavanya Tripathi at the Film Chamber of Commerce regarding her exit from the film. “The pre-production of the film was done and the film was to go on floors in September but with Lavanya making an exit, the team had to reschedule. Also, Chandramouli isn’t convinced by her reasons for quitting, and holds her responsible for the waste of time and money. Now the film will start in October and the director is distressed by the delay as he was keen on beginning sooner and finishing it on a pre-planned time,” a report in DC quoted a source. The makers have now roped in Shalini Pandey, of Arjun Reddy fame, for the lead role in 100% Kadhal.
After actress Lavanya Tripathi opted out of the film with Vijay Deverakonda, which is being directed by Parasuram, the makers have now signed on Kannada actress Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady. Rashmika shot to fame with Kirik Party in Sandalwood and since then has been a top contender for a lot of films in all the south Indian industries.
