It is no secret that ever since hitting screens this April, ‘Baahubali 2’ has been on an absolute roll at the box office. SS Rajamouli’s has been breaking BO records and winning hearts like a boss. Moreover, it has managed to floor critics thanks to its grand visuals and engaging plot. Now, ‘Baahubali 2’ has achieved another rare feat.
In an exciting development, the Prabhas starrer has become the first film to have the most number of shows in Kerala even after a 50-day-run at the ticket window. Believe it or not, ‘Baahubali 2’ is still playing in 103 theatres across the state. We must say that that this is good news indeed and proves that ‘Baahubali’ mania is still running wild.
Interestingly, shortly after ‘BaahubalI 2’ completed 50 days, the makers released a new poster and made the occasion even sweeter.
In case you did not know, ‘Baahubali 2’ is touted to be an epic-drama and is a sequel to the 2015 release ‘Baahubali’. It features Prabhas in dual role while Rana plays the villain. The supporting cast includes names such as Nassar, Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishnan. It revolves around the rivalry between two brothers over an ancient kingdom.
On a related note, Rana and Prabhjas have now moved on to their new projects. Prabhas will next be seen in ‘Sahoo’. Touted to be action-drama and slated to hit screens in 2018, it features Neil Nitin Mukesh in a negative role. As far as Rana is concerned, he will next be seen in the political thriller ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’.
