We had earlier reported that Kaatru Veliyidai actress Shraddha Srinath will be making her debut in Telugu cinema with a film featuring Aadi. The film starring the young guns got rolling today in Hyderabad. The film will be directed by Vishwanath Arigela and produced by Uppalapati Charan Tej and Gurram Vijayalakshmi under the banner U.S.Productions and Vijayalakshmi Entertainments. Cinematography minister Talasani Srinivas Radav clapped the first shot while producer Charan Tej’s parents Uppalapati Ramakrishna and Anuradha switched on the camera.
Speaking about the film director Vishwanath Arigela said,” I’m very happy to do a film with Aadi. I have a special liking for Kala Tapasvi K.Vishwanath. Swarna Kamalam is one of my all-time favourites and when I wrote a female character similar to that of Bhanupriya in that film, I was scouting for a leading lady who is well versed in classical dance. I found Shraddha Srinath to be the ideal choice for this flick and A.R.Rahman’s student Phani Kalyan will be composing music for the film. Dasaradhi Sivendra’s cinematography will be a highlight of this film. The first schedule for the film is going to start from 19th June and the film is touted to be a family entertainer.”
Producers Charan Tej and Vijayalakshmi say that they came to India from US with extreme passion towards cinema. ” The quality will be the biggest priority for this film and there wouldn’t be any compromise. Vishwanath Arigela narrated this film’s storyline two years ago and has been in touch with us ever since,” said the producers.
Actress Shraddha Srinath spoke about her debut film and said,” I have already worked in two Tamil films and Kannada films as well earlier but finding it great to work with an energetic star like Aadi now for my debut in Tollywood. The film has all fun elements such as love, family drama which also carries a good social message. I thank the director as well as the young producers for giving me the opportunity to act in this exciting project.”
