Director Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi aka Krish is one of the rare directors who believes in telling stories that not many would have heard of. In 2017, Krish made Gautamiputra Satakarni with Nandamuri Balakrishna which went on to become one of the biggest hits in Telugu cinema. A period drama, Nandamuri Balakrishna played the warrior Satakarni in the film and impressed Telugu audiences with is intense performance. Director Krish is currently working on his upcoming Bollywood film Manikarnika which has Kangana Ranaut in the lead role. The film is currently being shot at various location across India. And as the shootings are underway, Krish is gearing up for his next film in Telugu. Krish’s next film in Telugu has been titled Aham Brahmasmi and will have a top star playing the lead role in it. Going by the title, the film seems to be another period drama however could turn out to be a story with a religious backdrop too. Like everyone, we will have to wait and watch for it too.
Aham Brahmasmi will be produced by Sai Babu Jagarlamudi and Rajeev Reddy jointly and will be made on a mammoth budget. The makers are in talks with various stars in Telugu cinema and soon an announcement would be made. According to emerging reports, the principal shooting of the film will begin in August this year and more details about the cast and crew of Aham Brahmasmi will be revealed soon by the makers. A team of Krish has already begun the pre-production works on the film and currently working on the locations and other things.
Krish’s second directorial in Bollywood, Manikarnika, is gearing up for release this year. The film will be made in Hindi primarily and later will be dubbed into Telugu and Tamil simultaneously. The film will, however, be released simultaneously across the globe on all the three languages.
