Megastar Chiranjeevi had a resurgence in films with Khaidi No 150 and the film turned out to be triumphant one. Everything started falling back in place for the Megastar ever since he announced his comeback to films. Chiranjeevi also had announced his 151st film which is going to be a story revolving around freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narsimha Reddy. Legendary writers Paruchuri brothers have been roped in to draft the script for the film and high-power film maker Surender Reddy has been finalised as the director for the film. The writer brothers and the director have dug deep into history of South India to make sure they don’t miss out on any nuance about Uyyalawada Narsimha Reddy.
Recent reports suggest that Director Krish recently met Chiranjeevi and shared experiences of his research while working on Gautamiputra Satakarni with Balakrishna. The director told the makers that there isn’t sufficient data in India regarding our history and they should visit museums in London where he could gain access to manuscripts that have much more information than what our museums have. Books in India and the universities have only basic information about our freedom fighters and not in detail. Reports also say that Surender Reddy and Paruchuri brothers agreed to this and gained some more information from those museums in London, and apparently have made few changes to the script that they had prepared.
This is a rare aspect in the Telugu film industry that the makers are doing some extensive research before finalising the script and that being done for a big-ticket actor like Chiranjeevi is commendable.
