According to a leading daily, Sai Pallavi—who has become the heartthrob of T-town courtesy ‘Fidaa’—recently refused to attend the opening of a mall even though there was a lot of money at stake. Confirming this, a source said that she said that she did not believe in doing such things for monetary gains and would rather attend charity events instead.
“When asked if she would attend a mall opening, Sai Pallavi downright refused, despite the huge money, saying, ‘I don’t like such things. I will come for hospital openings, charity events and welfare activities.’ Surprisingly, she said that she is ready to do it for free provided she gets the time,” added the source.
Interestingly, these days, it is quite common for actresses to attend various events and make their presence felt. As such, Sai Pallavi’s recent actions prove that she truly one of a kind and believes in doing things on her own terms.
In case you did not know. ‘Fidaa’ was a romantic drama and hit screens last month amidst much fanfare. A commercial success, it featured Sai Pallavi in the role of a Telangana girl and won hearts because of its simple screenplay. Some time ago, the actress had said that she was truly overwhelmed by the love that came her way thanks to ‘Fidaa’.
“It feels so overwhelming. I was really surprised by this kind of response, especially for my dialogues in the Telangana accent. I’m on cloud nine,” she had added.
