It’s a rare situation that three big-ticket films release on the same day locking horns and it will be interesting to see how these will fare at the box office. The films – Nene Raju Nene Mantri, LIE and Jaya Janaki Nayaka – has top actors in the lead roles and the trailers and teasers of all these films have been quite interesting creating a huge buzz around the films.

Nene Raju Nene Mantri starring Rana Daggubati and Kajal Aggarwal is touted to a political-drama and has Rana Daggubati playing, Jogendra, a money lender who aspires to become the Chief Minister. Kajal Aggarwal plays his wife, Radha, and her look in the film has created a huge buzz around the film. Directed by Teja, Nene Raju Nene Mantri seems to have the right elements to draw the viewers to the halls over the weekend.

LIE starring Nithiin and Megha Akash

LIE, starring Nithiin and newcomer Megha Akash, is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Hanu Raghavapudi and the expectations on the film are quite high. With interesting teasers, trailers and songs, LIE has garnered a lot of attention and is expected to open to good numbers this Friday at the BO. With an ensemble cast which includes Action King Arjun, LIE is expected to have packed halls over the weekend.

Jaya Janaki Nayaka starring Bellamkonda Sreenivas and Rakul Preet

Jaya Janaki Nayaka, staring Bellamkonda Sreenivas and Rakul Preet, is also releasing this Friday and expectations on this film are quite high. Directed by Boyapati Srinu, Jaya Janaki Nayaka has a new feel to it unlike Boyapati’s previous films which are mostly action oriented. With an interesting title and top star cast, Jaya Janaki Nayaka will be expected to hit some good numbers this Friday.

In a very long time, the Tollywood BO will see three big-ticket releases hitting the screens on the same day.
