Films Releasing This Week: From Nayanthara’s Aramm to Manchu Manoj’s Okkadu Migiladu

Nayanthara’s much talked about ‘Aramm’, Manchu Manoj’s ‘Okkadu Migiladu’, Vishal’s ‘Detective’ and Sundeep Kishan’s ‘C/O Surya’ are releasing this week and the line-up seems quite an interesting one. Let’s take a look at what each film has to offer:


Nayanthara will be seen playing a collector in this film which is said to be socio-political thriller which is directed by Gopi Nainar. The story of the film deals with challenges in rural areas and the trailers have already indicated the kind of intense role Nayanthara would be playing in Aramm. Aramm is releasing on November 9th, 2017 worldwide.


Ippadai Vellum:

Starring Udhayanidhi Stalin and Manjima Mohan in the leading roles, with Daniel Balaji, R. K. Suresh and Soori in supporting roles, Ippadai Vellum has created quite a buzz around it with its interesting trailers. Ippadai Vellum is releasing on November 9th, 2017.

Nenjil Thunivirunthal(Tamil) and C/O Surya(Telugu):

Sundeep Kishan and Mehreen Pirzada will be teaming up for the first time for this bilingual film which is titled Nenjil Thunivirunthal in Tamil and C/O Surya in Telugu. The film is directed by Suseenthiran who earlier made ‘Naa Peru Siva’. Nenjil Thunivirunthal is hitting the big screens on November 10th, 2017.

Okkadu Migiladu:

This film stars Manchu Manoj in dual roles and is based on the civil war in Sri Lanka. Manoj will be seen playing the role of LTTE leader Prabhakaran and also a student leader in the film, making it a double role for him first time in his career. The film also stars Anisha Ambrose in the other lead role. Okadu Migiladu is releasing on November 10th, 2017.

Vijay’s ‘Mersal’ is being dubbed into Telugu as ‘Adirindhi’ and is being released by Northstar Entertainments. The Telugu version of the film faced a lot of hurdles before getting a confirmed release date. ‘Adirindhi’ is releasing this week on the November 9th, 2017.



Vishal’s ‘Thupparivalan’ is being released in Telugu as ‘Detective’ which was a super hit in Tamil Nadu. The film is said to be a spy-thriller and has Vishal playing a detective for the first time. Directed by Mysskin, ‘Detective’ also features Anu Emmanuel and Prasanna in important roles. ‘Detective’ is releasing worldwide on November 10, 2017.
