First single ‘Dum Dare’ from Kiraak Party starring Nikhil Siddharth is a peppy number

2016 Kannada superhit film Kirik Party is now being remade in Telugu with Nikhil Siddharth in the lead role and is titled Kiraak Party. The remake is being directed by Sharan Koppisetty and is being produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under the banner of AK Entertainments. The screenplay of the film is being handled by filmmaker Chandoo Mondeti while the dialogues are penned by Sudheer Varma, both accomplished directors in Tollywood. The reason these two filmmakers have been roped in is to bring in the changes required in the story that will suit the Telugu audiences. The makers have now released the first single from the music album of ‘Kiraak Party’ which is titled ‘Dum Dare’. Composed by B.Ajaneesh Lokanath, the song is same as the original one in Kirik Party, which was also composed by the same music composer. The track is a peppy number and connects with music lovers instantly. This number is sung by Haricharan and is already going viral on social media, credit to the expectations on the remake of such a big hit. Watch the lyrical video ‘Dum Dare’ from Kiraak Party here:

Kiraak Party also stars Samyukta Hegde and Simran Pareenja in other lead roles marking the actresses’ debut in Tollywood. Samyuktha Hegde, who won a Filmfare in the category of Best Supporting role in her debut film Kirik Party, will reprise her role in the Telugu remake of the film. Samyuktha recently had said that there might be few changes to her character, Arya, including the name to suit the Telugu audiences. “The filmmakers aren’t sure about retaining the name Arya for the role yet. She is a typical tomboy — like that ‘one girl’ in a gang of five-six boys. In real life too, I’m a ‘less drama and more action’ kind of a girl so I can relate to this character. While the role will remain almost the same in the Telugu version, there will be a touch of ‘girliness’ to it,” the young actress had said.
