Following her stripping act against casting couch, Sri Reddy asked to vacate house

Telugu actress Sri Reddy, who raised allegations against south celebrities over casting couch, recently hit headlines by stripping in public. As an expression of anger, Sri Reddy stripped at Film Chamber of Commerce building in Hyderabad on Saturday. Well, she is back in the news again as she has been asked to vacate the flat by her landlord following her stripping act. Her stripping act has created a trouble for the actress.

Sri Reddy took to Facebook and revealed about the same. The Tollywood actress also stated that she is not afraid of the threats and that she will continue with her protest.

The post reads, “My owner called me and told to vacate my house, what a great people..he is working as an ias ..such a narrow minded people..U dnt even imagine how rude talking..Big people game started..”

Her next post states, “Big people tried to manage the media..but they can’t manage this protest..few great actors died(suiside)bcz of this big people political game..I’m not afraid of my life,i nvr care this threats..I’m a small for all of u,but not my protest..eeka kuda peekaledhu ane mondi dhairyaniki hats off.”

Well, Movie Artists Association (MAA) has socially boycotted and has denied her membership in the association. Membership in MAA is mandatory to get roles in the films. MAA has been calling this as a cheap trick by Sri Reddy to gain popularity. While some are supporting her on social media, some are judging her over the recent protest.

Well, earlier while speaking to ANI, Sri Reddy said, “Telegu girls are not getting chances in the Tollywood industry. Some industry people are just using the girls and not giving them opportunities in the movies.”

Well, since past one month, Sri Reddy has been sharing screenshots of chats and has been posting on social media that how big directors, producers have been using actresses.

Telugu Film Industry gets so much money and subsidies from both the Andhra and Telangana government. That’s from the taxes paid by ordinary public. So yes, they are obligated to the public to conduct their operations ethically and provide jobs to local talent. Otherwise they can go ahead and return all the land and subsidies they received for their studios and housing colonies.

Support her. She is not only saying that she did not get roles. She is saying none of the Telugu aspirants get roles. Which is true. Although there are many Telugu girls with looks and talent.

All the Telugu film fraternity should feel ashamed. Look at the issues she has raised! Talk about the issues not about her. It’s sad that none of the actors are coming in support of her.. why? Just becoz she is not A list star? Grow up tollywood.. shame

Horrible…I knew she would soon face repercussions. How can we keep encouraging people to speak up, especially women, when this is how they get treated in return. I am in no way condoning what she did i.e. did “things” expecting roles in return – but how terrible that she had to face such a situation in the first place. Those lecherous producers, and others, many of them married, have created such a monopoly there and such tough barriers to entry that they can happily take advantage of people and face no punishment. That whole industry is rife with misogyny, the most vulgar portrayal of women takes place in those movies – not all but most Telugu movies, and behind the scenes, this is what those shameless men are up to. And one woman who finally spoke up about it gets treated like trash. Meanwhile the bimbos of the world like that Rakul Preeti chick acts like an ostrich in the sand, as if nothing has happened – hypocrite #1! I really hope nothing bad happens to Sri Reddy – hope someone can do a kickstarter campaign and get her some help – can we?

Looks like lip surgery and stripping did not work for her? what next? cannot force anyone to cast you or telugu girls. producers will cast only who they think can carry the film and be a good looking prop. In tollywood, male actors are given larger than life roles and have god status. female actors are props only so she should not be overly concerned as her “acting chances” are not lost.

What a ‘SHAME’ ON T ELUGU INDUSTRY….. she is right when she says Telugu girls are not given any roles…I had heard the same being said by the telugu actress ‘Anjali’ & other locals….They prefer North Indians or ppl from Mumbai…….Give equal chance to all without being Biased…
