During a recent interaction with a leading news agency, director Mahi Raghav opened up about his upcoming film ‘Anando Brahma’ and praised its leading lady Taapsee Pannu. While talking about the ‘Naam Shabana’ actress, he said that she is a very sensible and passionate individual. He went on to add that he initially felt that she would not agree to star in his film.
“I don’t judge an artist by their previous work. I pitched the story to Taapsee out of intuition, and I found her to be very sensible and passionate. I think it’s really important that an actor has the right attitude than talent for a project to click. Taapsee is the best example,” he added.
Besides this, he also stressed that he is quite happy about how ‘Anando Brahma’ has shaped up and added that the film features a nice twist.
“It’s actually a comedy with a horror premise. Usually, humans are afraid of ghosts but what happens when the tables are turned? The flaws of the lead characters become their strengths and that makes our film different from any other horror flick,” he added.
Well, we sincerely hope that ‘Anando Brahma’ fares well at the ticket window and gives Taapsee’s fans a reason to rejoice. On a related note, this is a busy time for the actress. Besides ‘Anando Brahma’, she has ‘Judwaa 2’ in her kitty. A David Dhawan directorial, it is touted to be an action-comedy and also features Varun Dhawan-Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead.
