After the massive success of Baahubali: The Beginning, the second part of the franchise went on to create another record all over. As we all know the historic drama conquered all the box office records and made a whopping collection of over Rs 1000 crore worldwide. While the film managed to successfully cross 100 days at Japan Box Office, Baahubali 2 will finally have its China release on May 4.
Baahubali: The Beginning had witnessed average business in China and is expected that the second part of the film will turn out to be a real game changer. Bollywood films like Dangal, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, PK, Secret Superstar are currently making their way to China market in a big way. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is expected to change the history of Indian Cinema in China now. The film is expected to do exceptional business there and dominate the Box Office like a boss.
Talking about Japan Box Office business, earlier this month, producer Shobu Yarlagadda took to Twitter and wrote about Japan Box Office response that the film has been receiving. Here’s what the tweet read: “@BaahubaliMovie 2 released in Japan on 29th December. It has crossed 100 days in theatres & presently in its 15th week grossing over US$1.3 million! A big thank you to Japanese fans for the love and our Japanese distributor @movietwin2 for a great release! @ssrajamouli.”
The sequel to SS Rajamouli’s 2015 blockbuster, Baahubali: The Beginning finally answered the most asked question of the past two years, “Why Kattappa Killed Bahubali”. The first Baahubali movie had ended with a mystery, which eventually got solved in the second part of the blockbuster.
