Director Teja is going through a terrific phase on the professional front these days. His last release ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’ opened to a good response at the box office a few months ago and received rave reviews along the way. Shortly thereafter, he was signed on to direct the highly ambitious NTR biopic. Featuring the dashing Nandamuri Balakrishna in the titular role, it has already created quite a buzz amongst fans as it is likely to showcase some unknown aspects of the thespian’s life. And, now, it seems that the buzz surrounding it is going to receive a shot in the arm.
According to a leading daily, the film will open with a shot of former PM Indira Gandhi enquiring about NTR while on her way to Tirupathi. Confirming the same, the source added that the film will end with VP Singh becoming PM.
“Indira Gandhi along with P. V. Narasimha Rao is travelling to Tirupati in a car. She sees big posters of Lord Rama and Krishna and folds her hands with devotion. Then P. V. Narasimha Rao tells her that they are not real gods and that a top actor called NTR has played the role of these gods. She then curiously asks Rao about him and the story starts there,” added the source.
The source also revealed that the makers will not be dealing with the Lakshmi episode in this biopic.
“However, the team has decided not to include the Lakshmi Parvathi episode in the biopic; so it will end right after V.P. Singh takes over as the prime minister,” added the source.
Well, these are some nice revelations and we hope that the biopic does well at the box office.
