Reacting to these strongly, Jeevitha Rajasekhar said that she was shocked to here about this and said she would file a defamation suit against those who have made these allegations. Interacting with the media, Jeevitha Rajasekhar said that she has always played fair in the industry and has never favoured anyone in exchange of work. And taking her action further, Jeevitha Rajasekhar did file a complaint with the police officials in Hyderabad against Sandhya as a defamation suit. Jeevitha further added that her image is being tarnished after it was announced that she would be a member of the CASH (Committee Against Sexual Harrassment) in Tollywood, which was recently announced.
After Sri Reddy came out in pen regarding the casting couch allegations, many women artists have spoken out about their issues and the situations they have faced in Telugu film industry. Many Telugu news channels have been hosting many programmes and debates with these women and hearing out their versions of casting couch. And in such program, actor Sandhya Naidu claimed that noted actor Rajasekhar and his wife and producer Jeevitha are also involved in the casting couch in the film industry.
