It is no secret that 2017 was a terrific year for actor Jr NTR. In September, he gave strong proof of his abilities as an actor when Jai Lava Kusa opened to a thunderous response at the box office while receiving rave reviews along the way. An action-drama, it featured him in a triple role and received the proverbial thumbs up from all quarters. Also featuring Raashi Khanna and Nivetha Thomas in the lead, it was directed by Bobby and proved to be the perfect Dussera gift for Tarak’s fans.

With 2017 behind him, Jr NTR is set to star in ace filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas’ next directorial venture. And, needless to say, this has created quite a buzz amongst fans. Now, the makers have confirmed that the film will be going on the floors from March and given fans a reason to rejoice. The film is likely to feature the ‘Young Tiger’ in a brand new avatar and will see him experiment with his on-screen image.

Sometime ago, a source had told a leading daily that the film is going to feature several witty dialogues and help Jr NTR showcase his abilities as an actor, to the fullest.

“Trivikram spoke more about the actor’s comedy role and told him that in his upcoming film he wants to portray Jr NTR’s role in a comic way. Usually, Trivikram is known for his punchy dialogues, but after the success of Jai Lava Kusa, he got more freedom to write more witty dialogues in his upcoming comic-drama,” the source had added.

On a related note, Trivikram’s latest release Agnyaathavaasi hit screens on Sankranthi and proved to be a commercial failure. A family drama, it featured Pawan Kalyan in the lead and received negative reviews courtesy its weak screenplay.
