Father of Rajamouli, writer Vijayendra Prasad ventured into Bollywood with Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan and got a sterling response for his skills. Bajrangi Bhaijaan turned out to be one of the biggest films in Bollywood and put Salman Khan at the top in Bollywood. He also wrote the story and screenplay for both the parts of Baahubali which is now an international sensation. Vijayendra Prasad is now an unstoppable force in both the industries.
As per latest reports, Vijayendra Prasad is penning the story and screenplay for a film on the biopic of Rani Jhansi. Kangana Ranaut is playing the lead role in the film. Sources say that Ketan Mehta was taking care of the story and script for the biopic and apparently Kangana was unhappy with the way the story was shaping up. Kangana insisted that they bring in Vijayendra Prasad since he has two blockbusters in the last two years under his belt. Vijayendra Prasad was immediately brought on-board and he started writing the story in his quick-witted style. Prasad also suggested Director Krish to the makers of the biopic as director and they agreed to it instantly. Krish is known for handling sensible subjects and Vijayendra Prasad is famous for penning down intense episodes. Now, this duo will work together for the first time and that will be a Bollywood project.
For all the movies, he has done so far, Krish has written the story and screenplay himself and this will be the first time Krish will be working on a script by a different writer. Krish made his debut in Bollywood with Gabbar is Back, a remake of Chiranjeevi’s Tagore, which had Akshay Kumar in the lead role.
