Krishnarjuna Yuddham is a Merlapaka Gandhi directorial and will be his first release in nearly two years. Gandhi is best known for directing Express Raja and it will be worth watching if he is able to deliver the goods. Besides Nani, it also features Anupama Parameshwaran and Rushkar Mir in the lead. Its music has been composed by Hiphop Tamizha and is bound to be a major highlight of KAY.
Interestingly, 2018 has been a good year for Nani so far. Nearly two months ago, he added a new dimension to his career when his maiden production venture AWE opened to a good response at the box office and received praise from all quarters. Described as a ‘genre-bender’, it had Kajal Aggarwal and Nithya Menen in the lead.

While talking about his decision to produce the film, he had said that it was his way of giving back to the industry that made him a household name.

“Everything I have earned so far is through cinema. I want to give back to the same cinema. I told myself ‘if I don’t support such interesting story ideas, then we won’t be able to see different films getting made in the Telugu film industry. A lot of people would think that I turned producer to make profits. Honestly, it’s not easy to make a film today. After producing Awe, my respect for other producers grew manifold,” he had added.
