Mahesh Babu praises Rangasthalam, Samantha thanks him for his kinds words

The much-loved Samantha Akkineni is going through a terrific phase on the professional front these days. Her latest release Rangasthalam has turned out to be a commercial success and received praise from all quarters. Most stars and movie goers are of the opinion that Sam’s perfect portrayal of a village girl is one of the biggest highlights of the film. The latest star to praise her performance is none other than Telugu actor Mahesh Babu. ‘Prince’ took to Twitter and said that he found Rangasthalam to be a good film and praised its lead actors.

“@MythriOfficial as producers have excelled once more 🙂 Ram Charan & @Samanthaprabhu2 this surely is your career-best performance.Congratulations to the whole team 👍Thoroughly enjoyed it :)” added the star.

Replying to his sweet comment, Sam thanked him profusely and said that she was tuched by his kind words.

“ Thankyou so so much . Means a lot coming from you,” added Sam.

It goes without saying that this exchange is bound to create a buzz amongst fans and give them a reason to rejoice. Sam and Mahesh Babu have tremendous respect for each other and have previously shared screen space in films like Brahmotsavam and SVSC to name a few.

Interestingly, a short while ago, Sam had said that playing a village girl in Rangasthalam was a relief for her as she did not have to look perfect on the big screen.

“It was such a relief to play a character where I didn’t have to look perfect. It’s too much pressure to handle when you’re constantly thinking about your make-up, hair beyond what you are actually supposed to do in front of the camera. Everything about the film and my role is on a different tangent. Sukumar was very clear that he didn’t want to see Samantha at all. I had to walk, talk, and even laugh like Ramalakshmi,” she had said.

Sam will next be seen in Mahanati, which is based on the life of yesteryear actor Savitri. As far as Mahesh Babu is concerned, he is currently gearing up for the release of Bharat Ane Nenu.

Nothing special about samantha’s character. It’s just the look and acting wise she was hardly in 4-5 scenes with bad lip sync.
