The political drama Bharat Ane Nenu starring Mahesh Babu has been earning huge at the box office like a boss. The film that released on April 20, 2018, has set quite a few records, both domestic as well as internationally. Well, now the makers of the film have released four deleted scenes on YouTube and Mahesh Babu fans are going gaga. The four videos showcase an Assembly question hour scene, Mahesh Babu’s debate with the management of educational institutions, his conversation with a farmer, and his conversation with a pregnant woman. According to reports, the scenes were chopped due to an already lengthy runtime of the film.
Bharat Ane Nenu director Siva Koratala recently revealed that Mahesh Babu was the first and only choice to play Chief Minister in the film. “We knew we had a terrific film on our hands as Siva garu (director Koratala Siva) is a great storyteller. But one never knows which way the wind blows. It’s always the audience which gives the final verdict, and it’s truly overwhelming and a big thank you to all who have unanimously loved our film. It’s a very proud moment for me,” said Mahesh Babu, during a media interaction.
Seeing a huge response to the film across the globe, the makers have decided to dub Bharat Ane Nenu into other languages, including Hindi. “We are taking the film to other parts of India apart from Andhra. We feel the political message of the country is relevant to every Indian,” Siva said.
Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu while speaking to IANS revealed that he would love to star in the sequel of Bharat Ane Nenu if director Koratala Siva is looking forward to make one. “To be honest, we had content to do a five-hour film. But since we had to make it one film, we edited the content down to less than three hours. But I would love to do a sequel if Siva Sir agrees,” said Mahesh Babu.
Produced by DVV Entertainments, Bharat Ane Nenu is directed by Koratala Siva, who has again worked with Mahesh Babu after their blockbuster ‘Srimanthudu’. Bollywood actress Kiara Advani marked her Tollywood debut with this film.
