Mehreen and Ravi Teja in Raja The Great.

Actress Mehreen Pirzada is going through a terrific phase on the professional front, these days. She was last seen in ‘Mahanubhavudu’, which did well at the box office and received rave reviews along the way. Now, she is gearing up for the release of ‘Raja The Great’ in which she will be seen alongside the much-loved Ravi Teja. And, as expected she is quite excited about the film.

During a recent interaction with a leading daily, Mehreen said that working in Raja The Great helped her realised that visually-impaired people are more skilled than those who have normal sight. She went on to add that she was happy about being part of such a good film.

“Earlier I would empathise with the visually challenged but after seeing Ravi Teja in the film, how he performed, I realised that none of us normal people can do what they are capable of. It changed me as a person. People asked me why I work in stories where the hero has some limitation or the other. I can only say I am happy being offered good roles,” she added.

Well, we are happy for Mehreen and hope that Raja The Great does well at the box office. In case you did not know, ‘Raja The Great’ is touted to be an action-thriller and has been directed by Anil Ravipudi. It features Ravi Teja in the role of a visually impaired man and marks his return to the big screen after a hiatus.
