Samantha Akkineni as we all know is doing great on a professional front. She is the reigning queen of the Tamil and Telugu film industries. Samantha Akkineni has given some back to back successful hits, Rangathalam, Mahanati and Irumbu Thirai. While she has some amazing films lined up for the release, rumours are rife that actress Samantha Akkineni is planning to quit films from next year and is wrapping her projects before March 2019.
Well, finally, Naga Chaitanya speaks up on the rumours of his wife quitting the films. In an interview with Deccan Chronicle, Chay said, “Sam won’t quit films as she is busy with many projects presently. She may take a break, but she won’t quit now.”
In fact, the couple will soon be seen in a film directed by Shiva Nirvana. Sharing about the same, he said, “The director insisted that he wanted both of us in the film. The subject deals with a couple after their marriage, so we thought it was suitable for us.”
He also spoke on how Sam gives him opinions about on work. “Just like my father, Sam is very frank in her opinions,” said Naga Chaitanya
Samantha Akkineni awaits the release of ‘Seema Raja’, in which she’s paired opposite Sivakarthikeyan. This will also be the first time for this pair to associate for a film together. The film has been majorly shot in and around Tenkasi. Samantha has trained for her role in this film by learning the weapon-based ancient art form Silambam. The actress had even posted a video of practicing Silambam on her social networking page. Seemaraja is touted to be a rom-com and is set in a rural backdrop.
Samantha Akkineni will also be seen playing a very strong character called Vaembu in upcoming film Super Deluxe.
On the other hand, Chay’s upcoming films — Savyasachi and Sailaja Reddy Alludu are nearing completion.
