Nagarjuna to host a special screening of Officer for Amitabh Bachchan?

King Nagarjuna and sensational director Ram Gopal Varma’s cop drama ‘Officer’ has managed to create a huge pre-release buzz. After their successful combination of a path-breaking film like ‘Shiva’, the two are teaming after a long time. Ever since the second teaser of the film has released, moviegoers are quite excited to know what’s in the store. While the makers have geared up for the big release, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan can’t stop praising Nagarjuna’s Officer trailer.

Big B shared the official trailer of Officer and Nagarjuna was quite happy about it. He took to Twitter and wrote, “Thank you dear Amitji We can’t wait to show you the film.” Now looks like Nagarjuna, who shares a good bond with Amitabh Bachchan, might host a special screening of the film for the megastar.

To people who don’t know, Amitabh Bachchan has featured with Southern star Akkineni Nagarjuna in a jewellery advertisement. The advertisement saw Amitabh Bachchan essaying the role of a headmaster while Nagarjuna plays the role of a student. The commercial saw a heart-warming bond between a teacher and student. Amitabh Bachchan had also earlier shot for a commercial with Manju Warrier, Akkineni Nagarjuna and Prabhu Ganeshan.

That’s not all; Amitabh Bachchan had also done a cameo appearance in Nagarjuna’s family film Manam. The two have shared the screen space together a couple of times.

Coming back to officer trailer, Nagarjuna’s fiery looks as a foolhardy cop has created an impact. Myra screen is the female lead of this film produced by Sudheer Chandra and Ram Gopal Varma under the banner, ‘Company’. Ajay and Sayaji Shinde will be seen in key roles. ‘Officer’ is slated to hit screens on May 25th.
