Nagarjuna mourns Sridevi’s death

Noted Telugu star Nagarjuna just took to Twitter and reacted to the much-loved Sridevi’s untimely demise. In his heartbreaking tweet, the veteran actor that he cannot believe that the ‘Last Empress’ is no more. He added that that countless memories of the elegant lady flashed across his mind the second he heard the terrible news.

“I have been trying all morning to gather myself to face the truth of dear #sridevi leaving us,trying to believe it’s  just a bad dream/memories of her just keep coming back and I don’t know whether to smile or cry. We love you dear Sridevi 🙏#RIPSridevi,” added the actor.

Nag and Sridevi looked good together on the big screen and had starred in films such as Khuda Gawah and Aakhari Poratam to name a few.

In case you did you know, Sridevi is regarded as the first female superstar of her generation. She began her career as a child actor and ultimately became a synonym for success. Her most notable South films include Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari, Moondram Pirai, and Bobbili Puli to name a few. She also conquered Bollywood and starred in memorable hits such as Mr. India and Chandini to name a few.

Her last South was the 2015 release Puli. In it, she played the role of a queen and impressed her die-hard fans. However, the fantasy drama bombed at the box office. The 2017 release MOM was the last major release of her career. Also featuring Nawazuddin in the lead it did decent business at the box office and impressed critics. It goes without saying that this is an irreplaceable loss for the film industry and our condolences go out to her family. She was truly one of a kind.
