Nagarjuna’s film with RGV titled Officer, here's the awesome first look

If you are a fan of the much-loved Nagarjuna, then we have some awesome news in store for you. In an exciting development, director Ram Gopal Varma just took to Twitter and shared the first look poster and title of his film with T-town’s ‘King’. The film has been titled Officer and its poster is terrific.

In it,  Nags can be seen in an intense and ferocious new avatar that he rocks. The poster indicates that this one will be an intense an action-packed cop drama. Interestingly, Officer marks RGV’s first film with Nags in a long time. The two are perhaps best known for their 1989 release Siva which is regarded as a classic. As such, fans are bound to have high hopes from this.

While announcing the film, RGV had said that this will be petty different from anything he has done in the past.

“I am extremely excited that I am doing a film with Nagarjuna after nearly 25 years but contrary to some uninformed media speculations, this new film is nothing to do with ‘Shiva’, neither in character nor in story content. It’s a very different but an extremely realistic action film set against a story such as neither me nor Nagarjuna has ever done before,” he had written on FB

On a related note, Nags was last seen in Raju Gari Gadhi 2 and received rave reviews for his performance, A horror-comedy, it also had Samantha Akkineni in the lead and did well at the box office.

While talking about it, he had praised director Ohmkar and called him a terrific storyteller.

“I am playing a mentalist in this horror comedy and it’s not a sequel to Raju Gari Gadhi. Both are different stories, but of the same genre, hence, they kept the same title. He (Ohmkar) is a perfectionist and looks into every small detail,” h had told a leading daily.
