The film on legendary actor NT Rama Rao has commenced its shoot on Thursday and on this occasion, a still of Balakrishna who is reprising the title role is released. Guesswhat, the shoot of biopic has started off in the same manner as NTR’s first day of shoot back during his debut with the film ‘Manadesam’ and Balakrishna is seen exactly as his father who essayed the role of British Inspector. NBK has rendered the exact same dialogues on the first day of NTR in Manadesam.
Along with the still, a hand written note of the great NTR, dated back in the year 1975 is also made public. In this letter, NTR states that he is truly humbled by the love and affection of Telugu people showering on him and for life he would be indebted to them.
Actor-producer Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Krish Jagarlamudi too sought the blessings of Telugu audience on this occasion. Besides Nandamuri Balakrishna, Bollywood actor Vidya Balan has also be signed on to play an important role in the film. Vidya Balan would be seen playing Basavatharakam, NTR’s wife, in the biopic. Rana Daggubati will be seen playing NTR’s son in law and current chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, in the biopic which is an exciting news for the fans of the Nandamuri family. While Rana Daggubati and the makers are yet to confirm this development, sources in the film circles reveal that the discussions have been completed and Rana Daggubati will soon sign the dotted line.
Actor Jisshu Sengupta says it is a huge honour to be able to represent such a sincere visionary as L.V. Prasad in a film based on the legendary Telugu actor-filmmaker-politician NTR. This will be the Bengali actor’s debut in the South film industry. The film, which will be directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, also features Vidya Balan and Rana Daggubati.
