Actor Nandamuri Balakrishna had a release this year ‘Paisa Vasool’, directed by Puri Jagannadh, which went on to become a hit film in the career of the mass star. Balakrishna will next be seen in a KS Ravi Kumar directorial which is titled Jai Simha. The shooting of the film began in August this year and the makers have wrapped up the talkie part of the shooting. The last leg of the shoot was in progress at a film city in Hyderabad which is now wrapped up. Besides Nandamuri Balakrishna, ‘Jai Simha’ also stars Nayanthara and Hari Prriya in the lead roles.
“One more time Balakrisha and Nayanatara pair will absorb the audience attention. Director KS Ravikumar finished talkie part successfully and two songs are left, and the balance will be shot in a foreign schedule. CK Entertainments proudly present the film as a treat for Balayya Fans to make Sankranthi more special. We are elated with response for title logo and first look,” producer C Kalyan said in an official statement. Besides Balakrishna, Nayanthara and Hari Prriya, ‘Jai Simha’ also stars Brahmanandam, Prakash Raj, Ashutosh Rana, Murali Mohan, and Jayaprakash Reddy in pivotal roles.
Balakrishna is also caught up with the production of the biopic on his father and legendary actor NTR which will be directed by Teja. The pre-production works of the film is currently under way and the script is being written. Balakrishna will also play the role of his father in the biopic which he confirmed recently. It is being said that the biopic will be made in Telugu and Hindi and will be produced by Balakrishna himself along with Vishnu Induri and Sai Korrapati.
